It must be the first Civil War novel to be set in Arkansas . I am planning a Civil War novel of my own , at the moment wrestling with the fact that the plot closely resembles Cold Mountain , which I have never read! Very annoying. Very concise and vivid writing style and I shall be interested in reading more. Watchlisted and starred. Would you be able took at the fist chapter of my novel 'A Buccaneer' which is set amongst Pirates in the 17th century , with best wishes from Strachan Gordon
