Time

Kevin R. Valladares

Time Dilatation is about the contradiction and the seemingly everlasting struggle between good and evil.
Inspired by Crichton´s Jurassic Park..

Time Dilation explains how technology helps out the human experience. The characters consist in five individuals, three scientists and two inventors. The great worm hole transportation invention that translates humans to one place to another works, they are translated from Earth into their space station. The next step is to go to the Moon, the characters have machines able to transform themselves into a multitude of vehicles, jets and space shuttles. When they arrived to the Moon something is quickly discovered as they cannot find the reminiscences of the Apollo missions. They decide to go back to Earth to understand what is happening, it is closer than their space station. They finally arrived to Earth but things look bad, they discovered that Earth seems different as prehistoric beasts long since extinct are alive, the men realized a grave miscalculation, that the worm hole is also a time hole. The stranded men must fight powerful prehistoric dinosaurs. The vicious Tyrannosaurus is able to kill viciously. They have to manage to survive them and even worse they must survive the most defining cataclysmic event in the History of Earth, the extinction of the dinosaurs.

Two Wars

Kevin R. Valladares

Young Marines are challenged by the Iraq war. The Marines must fight, but far from home, the only source of dependence is each other.

This story talks about two young men. One is Pfc. Martinez, the latter is fallaciously enlisted in the USMC. He was jsut trying to go to college and improve his life, but now he is presented with the hardship that a military life presents.
The other young man is names Hardy, he is an average student and he is also poor. Without many options of work or education he enlists in the USMC to try to find a better living.
Both young men meet in Parris Island, both become buddies. Hardy must a fight a greater battle, a war, without knowing the true causes of the latter, he must give his sweat, his tears and his blood so that America may have a chance at this quagmire.
Martinez and Hardy may come from different places, but they share the same belief. That there is something sound and just in this world.
The book ilustrates the hardship of war, it has many nerve racking Iraq danger moments. The M-16 is widely used, the .240, the .50, all weapons that Americans used to fight the insurgents. War is nerve racking, read and be on the edge

Football is great, the idea of leaving England´s great football environment and going to a far away land is intriguing. view book

Appreciate the over view, I would like to say that if you read the middle and end, the book explodes into action. Thanks. view book

Thank you. The thing is that the start is okay, but if you read through the middle and the end, that is where the book gets interesting. Appreciate the backing. view book

Yes, I must improve the picth. The fact is that Crichton was on his own league, I have read him and Jurassic Park inspired me to write this. Indeed, there are some flaws in the beginning, but for your comment I see that you just read the beginning, the middle and the end are better structured, so I ... view book
