about me

Hello everyone. I came on here because a friend told me the site has a lot of talented authors.

I'm looking for good literature to read and recommend to others and hoping to get some feedback on my novel in progress. I'm particularly interested in adult literary fiction set in unusual locations, by which I mean places that are not necessarily on any map.

Looking forward to seeing what's out there.

favourite books

Anything by Paul Auster, most of Bukoski and all of the early Ballard stuff.

So good. Tough but tender. And I love the world. Makes a change to read a novel not set in one of the world's great cities. Highly starred and backed. view book

I disagree entirely with Shaun's comments re the pace of the novel. I absolutely love the languid way the story unfolds, I don't need it to 'rollick' along as if I have the attention span of a fly. This novel is concerned with character and mood, both of which take time to establish. Too much fictio... view book
