about me

*****Hi all, am hibernating for a short while as i complete edits of the final half of the book. I'm taking the book offline for a while and will come back to this site when my work's done. Thanks all for your comments and watchlist/shelving of my ditty. I'll be back!...(believe me, my Terminator voice was truly bad!)*****

Born Maria-jose in Spain and moved to the UK where there are a lot less Maria's. Hussar! Went to school in London and Uni in New York state. I speak a few languages (blah! but who cares?) I teach Salsa and sing...not usually at the same time.

I am definitely an Author Page-stalker. Once 'bitten' by a writer's universe, will track down all works and devour every page before moving onto the next one. I've gotten away with it too!

Thank you for taking the time to review some of my work. I shall certainly return the favour.

If required can also be contacted here: mnunn10@hotmail.com

Otherkind

M Romero Nunn

So Mankind's safe on home ground? Think again. Romy is fast learning that with Otherkind, what you don't know can hurt you - to death.

'Has someone pissed you off? Don't get mad, get even. Literally. Order online now for a customised revenge story from the Storyteller and watch them suffer in print.'

Who on earth is this Storyteller? And just how the heck is he making these stories come true? People are dying all over the place! Local reporter, Romy Tanner, is determined to find out.

Aided by Adam, the newspaper's gorgeous but mysterious photographer, Romy reunites with her estranged gypsy family and discovers the existence of Otherkind: Supernatural beings capable of causing mankind's extinction. That is, if the travelling gypsies who've patrolled them for centuries, ever stop. Gypsies like the the very sexy Lucas.

Realising that the Storyteller is a part of Otherkind Romy races to find this elusive being because the story he's now writing is hers.

Book one of the OTHERKIND series of books

Hi Kayla, I’ve read to the end of chapter 5. The story is certainly moving along for all the characters and I’m getting quite hooked with some of them! As I’ve mentioned before, it might be worth tackling 1 - 2 characters per chapter. I’m still not fully connected with all of them and I think ... view book

Only four chapters but absolutely packed with action, romance, adventure, amensia, dragons, elves and a dishy, teenage werewolf. The first person narrative is spot on and i immediately identified with Raven despite our age difference(!). i really did feel there was just the right amount of story-... view book

I was hooked on this story from the first chapter which by the way was excellent. I rarely visit children's books these days which is quite lamentable but i'm very glad I visited this one. Not only is the book written in a way which engages middle school readers, which, I have to admit is proba... view book

Hi Kayla, Was looking through chpter 2 this evening - i loved the way it ended with Exile and the whole idea of elves involuntarily taking on the escaped memories of dying humans is highly imaginative and brilliant. As I metioned in chpt 1 about longer vignettes for the four MC's, in two i'm i... view book

Hi Lesa, I've read up to chapter 13 of the twisted truth this evening and have loved the memories you've brought back to me of teenage love and lust. :-) 1. Pitches - An excellent short pitch that reminded me of the film voice-overs during the 30 second flashingly edited movie trailers. I cou... view book
