about me

My name is Emmalena Louisa Ellis and I am 22. I studied English and American Literatures at university and have previously been published for my poetry in various competitions. I've loved writing since I was a little girl and would like to take this opportunity to find an outlet and hopefully publish my novels with a major and popular company (after receiving positive feedback so far from friends and family). I love reading, collecting antiques, cooking and traveling and look forward to hearing from you all.

Some people have picked up on my spelling etc in my book, I'd like to say thank you in advanced but am currently uploading the chapters in beta, once all the chapters are up I will resubmit them proof read; in preparation as I near the draft ready for publication. Thank you again, as a dyslexic I welcome your comments but also hope you'll read the story for more than just a few minor slipups on my part.

Update: More Ginsterpigs will be added soon, along with a new cover by Paul Cocken, stay tuned :)

Donna this is a beautiful story that reads like a modern Eastern European epic. I love the powerful story you have created, with lovely believable characters that bring the reality of seemingly overlooked history back to life. I loved the way you made a story that not only described and thus made me... view book

A dynamic and original book that made me smile from every sentence, I felt D.J. Milne writes with immense charm both embracing Scottish roots but also making it something truly original which instantly builds the imagination. The characters are very believable and diverse and I enjoy that you subjec... view book

A very interesting read filled with brooding imagery and a vivid powerful voice of the main character. I love the description for its use of colours, sounds and words all which create a picture of the nightmare seeming to surround the main character. One thing to note on chapter 1 is the comparison ... view book

It is so rare for a crime/thriller book to drive a reader into the story so quickly with an increasing danger of repeating cliches of existing authors and television serials work. However, with Bloodstones by Casimir Greenfield, the reader is immersed into a beautiful vivid country location filled w... view book

Once more a beautiful tapestry of regency life as portrayed by Elsie Weaver. The words are rich and the emotions and imagery portrays as ever very real people that the reader can instantly warm to. Elsie never fails to create a gripping story that should appeal to true romantics and historical lover... view book
