about me

Concerning my shelving policy: books that I consider to be in a publishable state (in other words those books that I give 6 stars to without hesitation) will always find a welcome spot on my shelf.

PLEASE - no spam. I rarely reciprocate anything other than crits. Also, please don't shelve my book (SpinTrap) unless you truly believe that it is publishable as it stands -- which, given that I've not yet finished the first draft, is doubtful.

Latest revisions. Keen to get comments on chapters 51 onwards.

... and you think you're having a bad day?

Kal is not having the best of times. Though the changes that have taken place since his last visit to the Outer World - and in particular London - fascinate him, the job he needs to complete is turning out to be a full set of frustrations and confusions. The fact that his friends keep on killing themselves to escape from some horror he cannot feel only adds to his woes. Worst of all, the man in whose head he lives knows he is there ... and has no interest at all in being told what to do.

Yet Kal's task needs to be completed; the Outer World must be saved from utter destruction. Should he fail, Kal will be condemned to eternal life - but this time round he intends to die for real, and no Power on Earth is going to stop him!

Yes, I know how confusing the first chapters are: they're supposed to be confusing. Persevere and you will find your rewards.

I would particularly welcome critique of the text from chapter 51onwards. I always return crits in the manner in which they are offered.

Hi, Ted. I remember checking out your book ages back - 2 years+ ago? I remember I had reservations then; I have none now. I've read through to Ch4, and I know you've got the ability to sustain the quality - I reckon this is publishable now. Best wishes with finding the audience that this book deserv... view book
