I am a freelance writer and editor living in central Illinois.I am a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and the author of One Wolf Howls, a picture book newly published by Sylvan Dell Publishing.I have also written six nonfiction books published by The Globe Pequot Press. My short stories have appeared in numerous magazines for young people, and my poems about animals have appeared in Highlights for Children and Zootles magazines.I have two adult children.
