There's not much to say that hasn't already been said about this book. It is simply amazing, beautifully written, flawless on every level. This is brilliant fantasy, transcending the genre itself, because of your mastery. Imaginative, emotional, tense, gripping, thought-provoking, inspiring....

I could simply go on raving about this forever!!

Terrific, fun, and well written young adult fantasy. I think it would appeal to older readers too though, because of the many different characters. I like how we see things from lots of different perspectives, and there are lots of layers. You uncover the mysteries very well. Delightful to read! Six stars from me! :D view book

The rainbow in the first chapter is so symbolic, and I like the thread of colour that ties through your book. I can't wait to see how books 3 and onwards turn out! You keep surprising me with the depth of your work -- and just when I think you can't get more original... well, it does!

I absolutely love the three threads and the way you interlink them. Your descriptions are vivid and we really get to know the characters well. An original idea too, and approach - I don't think I've come across many books with your sort of unique flair! Congratulations again on a terrific book! view book

Yay for the second book!

Excellent opening and I love how we link back in with the first. Amazing imagery too -- the description of the conference chamber totally reminded me of 'Shadow on the Rainbow' in book one.

It was great to see some of the book one characters come back, and I can't wait to read more... Why are you keeping me in suspense haha??! view book
