Author Amy Bates has always had a crush on the written word. Good thing, because she needed many, many words to achieve a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising and a Master’s degree in Nutrition. In addition to that higher learning stuff, Amy has been a seamstress, a mannequin clothes changer and a file clerk, just to name a few. Amy admits to playing mediocre tennis (her other crush) with the ferocity of a pro and makes no apologies for her overzealous competitive streak. Amy lives in the Northeast US.
