I am married (and approaching my middle years!) with three grown-up children. I have three grandchildren, the eldest of whom I hope to use as a guinea-pig for my latest venture! I have always loved writing and find that I have more time to devote to it these days. I enjoy reading and writing poetry, as well as fiction.

I felt quite sorry for the poor dragon that Rhun 'slayed' (I don't think I was supposed to, but it just sounded so pitiful!) Tegfan is clearly not the great... view book
Well, Mackenzie! First novel or no, this is seriously good stuff. I've read the first four chapters so far and I'm riveted! You paint your picture incredibly well, and the characters are real and believable. I particularly liked Mrs. MacGregor's put-down to the nosey Rhona Cameron about the number o... view book
Oh - I like this! The idea of a community in which having red hair makes you part of an exclusive 'family' is an original and quirky premise. I can feel poor Betty digging herself deeper into the mire as she fibs to the mysterious Sheila, who has a distinctly sinister undertone. Loved the line about... view book
Randy, This a real work of art! Your writing is wonderfully descriptive and evokes images of an era long past. The description of 'the complete worldly belongings' of the man and woman in the first chapter is particularly poignant in view of the untimely arrival of the infant. I could continue to ... view book
