about me

Im an aspiring young writer, i specialise in short stories. i hope you like my work.

Just over a year ago i suffered a pychotic breakdown. This was brought on through the stress of abuse i suffered years ago. I dont see why i should be ashamed to admit this so that is why im declaring it to everyone. I'm also a proud Scottish nationalist if anyone wants to know.
This is a love poem written for my husband.

FOR MY LOVE

When the daylight spills through
The window in the morning,
I think of you.
When the sun shines bright above
My head,
My heart leaps with the thought of you.
When the morning air blows around
My face,
I’m taken up with you.
When the night time hush closes in around me,
Im glad to be with you.
When glorious sleep encompasses me,
Im glad that you are there beside me.

ps. remind me if i've forgotton to return a read, sometimes i have a terrible memory, but it's never intentional. just send me a message.

I was very taken in by Grow Fins. It was strangely reminicent of Neil Gunn in a very good way. I liked the descriptive nature of it and felt that the lack of dialogue left it up to the imagination of the reader what the couple might talk about. The only critisism i would have of it, which isn't a ve... view book

I think the secret billionaire has a lot of promise for a longer piece. I think you could elaborate on some of the characters mentioned throughout and give scenes to these characters. It was highly amusing and delt with the theme of "very rich people giving away insignificant amounts of money to ver... view book

As you have probably guessed i came across your work through your contributions to forums. I am gad I did. I did what you said and picked a number at random, reading 'Now What." I found the dialogue believable and the writing rich and descriptive. I was impressed with your tackling of the subject... view book

I have read up to chapter three and I am suprised by how much I am enjoying it. I have to admit that when I first read the pitch I wasn't keen by what I thought was another 'zombie' book. A genre I am not usually keen on. But I was wrong, it was a refreshing take on the subject. Having only read thi... view book

I loved your take on Rapunzel. I found it refreshingly original. I think that you could elaborate on the story as a whole. maybe have some detailed scenes in the classroom and maybe in the staffroom. This I feel would help us get to know the characters. It might be an idea to bring the gardener into... view book
