AWAY IN A TOY STORE

V.C. STONE

Everything was set...'til their house was sold. Now Kara, and bestfriend Lizzy, have to work fast if they are to receive their Christmas gift.

Four days before Christmas, and eight-year old Kara Yeager is in a panic. "That batty-watty lady came back and sold our house! Spit Naw! This will ruin everything for Christmas!"

Now Kara, along with best friend, Elizabeth 'Lizzy' Nelson, have to work fast or they will NOT get their Christmas gift — SISTERHOOD FOREVER!

They scheme and hide-away in Ellerbee's Specialty Toy Store to wait for Christmas.

Together, they scheme and hide in Ellerbee’s Toy Store and oh, what a lesson they will learn from an African Rag doll and a soldier without a gun!

AWAY IN A TOY STORE is a 86-page children's fantasy holiday tale. Wonderful bedtime story! GREAT HOLIDAY GIFT! Available at AMAZON!.

NANDI and the Renewal of Seren....

V. C. Stone

Serenity, a Herald and the Five Hierarchies. This was ‘their’ master plan until something on the parchment moved and hid. Now ‘they’ come for Nandi.

The setting is ancient Kemet/Egypt. A birth, a blessing, an old piece of wood and a stealthy Lector with two prodigious apprentices: four powerful secrets. And then there is the ‘ rooting’ of secret script-coding, an extraterrestrial language and the requisite of earning the trust of a transcendent staff. Altogether it was the perfect preparation for the ‘expected’ anticipated new monarch; a male. Nevertheless, a well-schemed vice occurs and secretly, a female is the firstborn.

For thirteen-year old NANDI, the tales of Mer Wer and the ancient prophesies are nothing more than myths, distractions from her struggle for survival in a parched land, with the cruel twelve-year old Prince Mali as her main obstacle, until... the 'Three Tongs' ring and life as Nandi knows it comes to an abrupt end... all for the sake of bring forth the very first Black Queen of Africa.

You 'flow' is not easy. Children's poetry should have the same count off syllables per line. Self-publishing would not work either. Fix the flow your plot is great. Cannot rate until the flow is fixed. view book
