Hello

I’m really honoured to be in this wonderful doorway to a world of writers of so many literary genres. I’m from Peru, so Spanish is my first language. Almost all my books are written in Spanish, however, I’m doing my best to translate them into English so I can share them worldwide.

My English knowledge is not perfect but I like challenges and always want to improve and learn. I must admit that it takes me some time reading the books that I put on my Watchlist but when I do, it’s great to Back them and support other writers.

I would like to thank all the people who take the time to read Animalstories, while adding that writing is an art and that I believe every person has this gift. Sometimes our work succeeds, sometimes we shelve it for a while. Sometimes we don’t even finish it but we must believe that all kinds of our writings are expressions of our intellect and figments of our imaginations and thus important and special. For me, books carry many important things: experiences, dreams, imagination, education, adventures and some other soul reflections that are shown in words.

I first started as a graphic designer: after some years I felt that I needed to share a lot of things, so I decided to start writing and so it continues. I think of myself as quixotic, always chasing dreams and trying to accomplish my goals the best I can. It is true that there were times that I had made more mistakes than wise choices, but I always want to continue and persevere.

About the work I do:
I'm an editor, designer and author of several books in different literary genres. I was a successful bidder in different tenders to the Ministry of Education of Peru with the books entitled: Alquimia 4 (The what and why of things. Science and Technology); Alquimia 5 (The what and why of things. Science and Technology); Legado (Historical and Cultural Heritage); Vigor (Health and Disease Prevention).

Other works by me include: Grama….posible edén (Science fiction novel in favor of ecology); Capitán Leo (Comic); Eclipse (Collection of Poems); Ciudad Joven (Urban Tales Volume 1 and 2); La historia del Señor de los Milagros.

I'm also the author of collections such as:

Lately, I completed a new Collection in english: "Animal stories”. This is a book that stimulates interest in preserving animals who are endangered or mistreated. Stories that go from a sea turtle fighting a plastic monster that dwells in the sea, a little alpaca that runs away from hunters, a pelican that has to accomplish a mission given by the King Neptune himself and much more. “Animalstories” is pleasant reading, visually wonderful, due to its watercolour illustrations, and very educational, not only for the message in each of the seven tales gives, but for the activities it stimulates for increased learning.
