about me

I am a mum of three, just trying to do something a bit different. I am a keen reader, but also enjoy the Theatre (Love Billy Elliott!) and travelling.

I will always return any read, and try to comment wherever can, but only if I think I can add anything different to the comments already there.

I dont respond to spam, so if you want me to read something, please feel free to read and comment on the Food Fight, and then I will happily do the same.

I just want to say a huge thank you to anyone who has already backed The Food Fight, and again, any comments are always appreciated.

Follow Maddie and her friends as they cope with love, life and food as twenty-somethings in London

Successful journalist Maddie Anderson is fed up! She hates her job, and is desperate to work for a glamourous magazine like Cosmopolitan. She has had a string of disastrous relationships but is sure there must be a ‘happily ever after’ for her somewhere. The clothes in her wardrobe keep getting bigger and her choice of things to wear that don’t make her look like the Michelin man is getting smaller. Unhappy, with her career, lack of boyfriend prospects and her ongoing battle with any kind of food, Maddie turns to her best friends for help and inspiration with results she could never have expected.
