"A Bedouin is as fast as the wind, hard as a rock, soft as the sea...... and forever free" a Muzeina Bedouin
Set in the merciless world of the Bedouin underground, the mountainous Sinai desert, “While the Sands Whisper,” is about Ayishah, a freelance American/Israeli documentary photographer, whose story deals with her childhood; the parallels between the American Jewish Mafia of her father... and her own adventures with the Bedouin of Sinai, romantic & otherwise.
Based on true events, Ayishah also wrestles with her own personal past, while her journey sweeps her through dusty Landrover tracks of barren terrain together with the Bedouin, experiencing their roguish lifestyle, their poetic culture, as well as their trafficking of drugs and innocent women, victims of the Russian mafia underground.
The Bedouin functioning as middlemen, taking these poor women through the desert towards the Israeli frontier, to face a life of prostitution in Tel Aviv's brothels, Ayishah's destiny, eventually entangled with two Russian women, when they are forced to leave Sinai together, to the forbidding no-mans-land between Egypt and Israel.
