about me

'I'm a writer, I give the truth scope!"

I have been writing for as long as I can remember. I write fantasy and science fiction mostly, and my reading preferences are about the same, although I do like a good thriller from time to time.

I live with my partner and our young son. Both are wonderful inspirations :)

Saving Isondier is finally up! It is a multiple viewpoint, dark fantasy about the lengths a dwindling race of people will go to in order to survive. I'm editing as much as I can at the moment so more chapters should go up often. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it!

I'm pretty busy with a lot of things at the moment so if I don't reply to something or read your book immediately, it doesn't mean I've forgotten about you. I'm getting through it all, but I always put return reads at the top of my list.

Saving Isondier - Part I

Charlotte Elise

When all your freedoms have been sold, and your oldest enemy becomes your closest ally, remember one thing:

The mission must come first.

The war was lost centuries ago. Meyndred fell into enemy hands and its rightful inhabitants, the Isondiens, now hide in self imposed exile. They wait, eager for the day they are strong enough to overthrow the Gerniri horde and take back what is theirs.

Nire, an elite Isondien warrior, ventures into the dangers of Meyndred at the will of her queen. She seeks an artefact, one she hopes will put power back into the hands of her people and reignite the war with the Gerniri. It is the mission Nire was trained for. Her skill is renowned, her devotion legendary. Everyone knows she will succeed or die...until she meets Garidyn, a Gerniri youth who compromises everything.

FCCG and CWOG Review Hi Terry, I found your first chapter to be quite intriguing and honest. I fully believed Connor, his behaviour that of a realistic school kid who doesn't want to be there because he's been through plenty of crap. I quite liked Connor (and great name by the way). His dialog... view book

CWOG Review I read the first two chapters of Limerence and it already feels like the sort of book that's going to take a sudden, dark turn, one I'm looking forward to seeing. The characters seem solid so far, and most of the dialogue reads quite naturally. There is just the right amount of descript... view book

Hi Ted, First of all, thank you for writing such a good sci-fi! The Immortality Game reads with the essence of a quality science fiction novel for so many reasons. I've read four chapters so far and can't wait to come back to read more. Chapter 1 The sibling dynamic is well presented here, a... view book

WTF review for Elendra – Tides of Easthaven I found the beginning of this book easy to read and understand, even though the story that is forming seems to be a complex one. All the characters are likeable, but I have to say Chib is my favourite so far. He has the most personality, and seems glad ... view book

Hi Kristen, I've read the first two chapters of The Keeper and I like the sense of adventure your story has. It seems like it could get a little dark too, which is always good, and there might be some power struggles between the three girls. That's the sense I got from these opening chapters, an... view book
