ABOUT ME.
I was brought up in Cambridge, England, but now live in London, with my two children. I used to work for a bank, but left for teaching, which keeps my mind young!

INTERESTS: Children’s story telling, mountaineering, conservation [particularly of bats. I sponsored a breeding programme of rare Rodrigues Fruit Bats at Jersey Zoo, together with another keen bat loving person, Monty Python's John Cleese. I write these books to help publicise and benefit these animals.

THE PAPERBAT BOOKS.
The Paperbats are one of the most secretive creatures that live in many of our parks, but few people know much of their busy lives. These books will open up a new world to children.

I have written several individual books on The Paperbats, each comprising 2 parts, totalling 24 pages, 3500 words.

First book ; which represents chapters 1 and 2 , follows an initial story of how Jack [a young lad who lives nearby meets the youngest of the Paperbats- Sunny]. The second part is where Grandpa Times tell the children bats how they became to be made of paper, due to a nasty goblin.

My second book; is represented by chapters 3 and 4. The former is about the twins [Tel and Metro] getting into trouble whilst getting their dad a birthday present. The latter
is about how Metro's invention saves the park [and themselves] from a dangerous fire.

The fifth chapter comes from the third book, and follows young Sunny on her flying lesson around her park.

I hope you enjoy them as much as my children have.
