ESCAPE

Valentine But

Two short stories about the importance of love in our life

ESCAPE: Wonders happen every day when we are young. They are as natural at this age, as a rainbow when it rains or a sunbeam kiss on your cheek on a sunny day. When adults, we get serious, become devotees of so-called reality and betray the wonder world of our dreams. This is a fantastic and at the same time nearly-true story about two dreams which gave birth to a little wonder, about two adults who managed to escape the dull world of “reality”.
WADE THROUGH THE DARK: A short story about the fragility of happiness and life itself, about love and the limits of its endurance, about hopes that are not to be betrayed and responsibility to those, who rely on us.

Dear Keiran, The beginning of your book is almost classical. Your style reminds me of Sir Arthur I.C. Doyle and Robert L. Stevenson. I love it so! You said you'd been accused of cutting things down too far and leaving people feeling they don't know your characters. I think, the accusation has no gr... view book

Dear Birgit, I've read four chapters of your thriller and find it intriguing and thoughtful. The book is well written. It touches upon the reader's feelings, gives birth to emotions. I like the way you switch on the reader's senses so that he can feel the chill, smell different (sometimes not very p... view book

Dear Jennie, I've read all the uploaded chapters and can state the read is great. First of all the reader is hooked by your beautiful descriptions. They are mostly natural bright and powerful. The topic is great too. The modern writers seldom touch upon some shameful pages of our history. Ch.1 ... view book

Hi Chris, I've read only five chapters (I'm so pressed in time these days!) and find your story very realistic. You have your own voice - clear and bright. It enables the reader to be in the midst of the narration. The great thing about it is you don't overload the reader with unnecessary details, ... view book

Dear Alexandra, I had time to read only a little but hope to come back again and again. Here are some of my suggestions: Vision It was the first thing I've read here and I liked it. The last line is great! The Wind Line 16: Maybe it'd go better this way: 'You are my Fourth Dimension'? Line... view book
