about me

Irish native Richard Walsh has been writing since before he could ski. His poetry efforts have won him a set of Puck the Goat t-shirts for his senior infants class. His first forays into playwriting earned him a fatwa from a local gang leader. He once won a short story contest organised by himself. Where Chana Sings is his first novel.

Why only two chapters? It's jut about to get going and then nothing. Hard to rate or review on so little but it's a strong opening at least. view book

Four cracking chapters; it's a shame there aren't more. I struggled to find something to criticise but came up blank. Not even a typo. view book

Just finished this last night. I stayed up an hour longer than I should have in order to finish it , which is naturally a good sign. I'm left wondering how much more is left of the book and where can it possibly go from here! The story continues to engage the reader and pull him/her along. Chapte... view book

It's the kind of situation everyone has pondered at least once and is probably well along the lines of what most of us would want to do if it came down to it. The story rattles along, the characters are appealing and identifiable... view book
