Its 1964. Hannah is sixteen, pregnant and eloping. Left abandoned at Victoria Train Station with nowhere to go, she is picked up by Martha and Raphael and brought to live on their farm in Essex. Hannah gives birth to twin girls. In her deranged mind, she blames the twins for her wasted potential, as she will marry Roy, a man she doesn't love, to hide her shame.
