about me

I was born and raised in Lancaster County, PA and currently live outside of Philadelphia, PA. I am a certified English teacher (not practicing at the moment) who has written my first book. I have been writing since Elementary School: plays, stories, poems, etc. It wasn't until March 2007 that I finally finished a complete novel. I love the outdoors, animals, film, and books.

favourite books

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Witches, James and the Giant Peach- Roald Dahl

Cell, The Mist (novella), Dolores Claiborne, Talisman (w/ Peter Straub), Thinner, The Dark Half (and pretty much everything else)- Stephen King

The Thief of Always, Abarat, The Books of Blood, Cabal- Clive Barker

Harry Potter- J.K. Rowling

Lately, I'm into reading short story anthologies in the Sci-Fi/Horror Genre.

The Hall of Worlds

Todd M. Weitzel

Abandoned on an alien planet, Xachary Biddle must unlock the secrets of the Hall of Worlds to escape Count Milton and find his way home.

Xachary Biddle is an average ten year-old boy with average ten-year old problems: difficulty with math, a teacher who treats him unfairly, and a bully who taunts him for looking “different.” To escape these daily horrors, Xach retreats into his imagination. A mysterious earthquake devastates his school and brings him into contact with a wounded stranger bearing a mystical key. Now the boy who used to daydream of aliens and distant planets actually finds himself stranded on a strange planet and surrounded by alien creatures. His only hope for returning home lies within the key – an object of immense power that unlocks the Hall of Worlds. The Hall of Worlds links millions of worlds and may only be accessed by those who possess one of the Creator’s keys. Xach must learn to harness the powers of the key to return home and protect himself from Count Milton, an evil wizard who will stop at nothing to possess the key and its power. With the help of a shape-shifting synthetic being who can alter molecular structures, Xach must protect the key and get home. He doesn’t realize it, but the fate of Earth and other worlds rests in his hands.
