He is an outsider in the Met Police but his contacts in the murky world of fences, drug dealers and gang bosses is awesome. He works so close to the edge that his life is often on the line and those of his team. He is handsome, funny, cheeky and ruthless in getting what he wants. Murder has to be solved and he does.
A Sikh born in Uganda but living in London since he was a child, he straddles the two cultures easily although not sure which culture he works with. The drinking problem keeps rearing its ugly head but thats the least of his problems.
