about me

I have worked in criminality on a paid and voluntary basis for 10 years. My latest series of books called "The Singhing Detective" is losely based on the Met Police and specific officers and I use my experience to keep the novels real. I live on a Dutch Barge in Essex. I love writing and immerse myself in the plots and characters.

This is my 4th book. I have written a supernatural thriller called The Devils Tears, Silent Night is a retrospective thriller and the first in the series The Singhing Detective (Jaswinder Singh) all on Amazon

I have put 12 chapters of my latest book The Godfathers of London (second in the series of The Singhing Detective) but the book is completed.

THE SINGHING DETECTIVE - SERIE....

M. C. DUTTON

DS Jaswinder Singh, The Jazz Singer to his friends and enemies has 3 gruesome and unusual murders to solve in his own unorthodoxed way.

This is the second in the Singhing Detective Series. Barking and Dagenham are reeling from 3 gruesome and tortuous murders. By luck more than judgement DS Jaswinder Singh, The Jazz Singer to his friends and enemies musters his army of low lifes who help him solve the murders. He works in a way long out of favour with the Metropolitan Police but he gets results. He is an outsider in the Met Police but his contacts in the murky world of fences, drug dealers and gang bosses is awesome. He works so close to the edge that his life is often on the line and those of his team. He is handsome, funny, cheeky and ruthless in getting what he wants. Murder has to be solved and he does. A Sikh born in Uganda but living in London since he was a child, he straddles the two cultures easily although not sure which culture he works with. The drinking problem keeps rearing its ugly head but thats the least of his problems. A page turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat and an ending that you have waited for.

Dear Scott , THE TELEPATH - I absolutely loved the first page. Well set and whetted my appetite . The second chapter went back and goads and teases the reader with history and information and hints of something special and sinister. Need to read more and I'll keep it on watch list for a space on my... view book
