about me

I live in Wales, I love to walk the mountains here and fish the seas when I get time. Along with my family we live in the centre of Snodonia national park, in the midst of the most beautiful countryside created. (in my humble opinion )

We rent out a holiday cottages to pay the bills so if you need a quiet place to write message me :-) .

I love to write, my main love is Science Fiction, I have written 2 books in a series but the latest book I've written, my third is "The Paladin Vampire" this is not science fiction. shock horror!

My first foray into serious writing was in the mid 1990s
I penned a few songs that were published so in that context I am already a published author.

I do not spam and I return reads.
My loves
Children (only when they are old enough to talk)
Dogs if they are well trained.
Food, all food, in fact mentioning food makes me hungry.

The Paladin Vampire

Ian Oliver-Jones

A Templar awakes seeking redemption, brutal but sensitive, violent but loving, his soul is torn between two worlds. A strange tale, both black and white.

Andrew, formally Adulphus di Brasi, awakes with hunger ravaging his withered body. His memories return along with his flesh and the former Templar, struggles to balance his condition with his deeply religious past. His need to feed brings him to the attention of the police and they are soon on the trail of the elusive serial killer.

This is not so much a Vampire story as a storm in the mind, a man haunted by his past teachings whilst being enslaved by his cravings. The oubliette that draws him in can be likened to hell’s fire, uncompromising and inescapable. This story of a man’s idiosyncratic behaviour will taint your beliefs. The basic fight to overcome steep odds is one we have shared in at some point in our lives but few will have had to duel daily with such terrible impulses.

The Jungle Beast

Ian Oliver-Jones

Sniper teams 1 and 2 are hunted after a routine mission has unexpected repercussions. Both training and luck will be needed to survive.

The jungle is a fickle companion, hot and wet, bountiful and deadly. This is the story of hardship and survival; a search into the depths of the mind for the strength to carry on. To overcome and triumph in the face of failure and despair, is to realise that just like in every other aspect of life, one person cannot make it on their own.Only by working as a team do we give ourselves that precious chance.

Hi Maeve I have to say this is one of the best reads I have had on authonamy, not what I was expecting at all. If I said this book is funny that would not cut it, hysterical would just about do it justice. I cried laughing when Lola moaned about the mosquito bites, the self-depreciating humor thr... view book

Hi Kenneth I have read your first chapter and was struck by how polished the writing is, the opening crash, the sniper shot were all vividly portrayed. Later, the urgency and purpose of the Japanese officer wile seeking to destroy evidence of war crimes was very well done. Your choice of words is s... view book

Hi Kaine I stumbled across your book while drifting aimlessly on this site and the first chapter hooked me. Something about the calm voice drew me in, the evil you have imbued your character with seems to be amplified by his laid back, confident persona. This places him into a new league of terr... view book

Hi Kate I have read some of your book and will return to read more later. I was pulled into the story by your expertly, woven, web of words. Descriptions and thoughts meld together to form a foundation for the plot. God forming the universe by way of his spoken word made me smile, fantastic idea... view book

Dear Kara I simply love your writing style, it flows with enough description to bring the story to life. Your characters are three dimensional, they leap from the pages because of life you breathe into them. Claudia the super optimist, Baruch the cynic, they are the perfect foil for each other. No... view book
