about me

Hey! I'm a little green in terms of age on here, but that's alright. I've been writing for a little while now and only just decided to upload my second attempt at a novel on here. I can't wait to read and review other books on here as well!

I'm open to book swaps, but I might turn you down if I feel the book doesn't fall into my interest range. Otherwise, happy reading! :)

September 3, 2012: 2175 has cracked the top 500! Thank you everyone for pushing me this far in just under five weeks!

In a future where the powerful dominate and the masses suffer, can one person ever hope to make a difference?

Angelo was never one to question anything about his life. The son of a powerful Councilman, Angelo had lived his whole life doing what the Council said, working to quash anyone who dares to oppose them. The city is all he knew, and he was content to live and work until his dying breath without a second thought.

All of this changes when the dreams begin, dreams of horrifying violence, gruesome deaths, and a world at war. His life is thrown off its pre-ordained track and collides with a mysterious woman named Mandy. Soon enough, he discovers that his life, the city, and everything about the Council is one huge lie.

In one fell swoop, his world turns upside down and he finds out just what lies beyond the walls of the city. Left with only Mandy and a new friend, Angelo must choose to either help bring this facade of a future down or live the rest of his life banished from the only world he has ever known.

Club Grimoire Alternate Critique First off, I'm terribly sorry for taking so long to get back to return the read! That said and done, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your first chapter. First off though, I'd like to quickly comment on your pitch. I think you might want to fix it up a little bit, as ... view book

Club Grimoire Alt Critique I'm really surprised by how intriguing your retelling of a mishmash of fairy tales has been so far! Your prologue seems to foreshadow what will happen later in the story, but more importantly it draws the reader in. Ruby is likable and I'm sure the name is supposed to l... view book

Hey MT, I'm surprised by the quality of your story. Although not my usual taste in genre, I found your story to be refreshing and funny. Acorn is quite the character, and you can almost feel Twig's frustration with being dragged along on his friend's escapades. The element of mystery (why have t... view book

Hi Ruko, Your book was an intriguing read, although I didn't get entirely into the rhythm of the story. I thought that your descriptions were very vivid and your narration was great. I just felt the dialogue was a little weak at times. I think if you made it a little more natural, this would be a... view book
