A strong opening, not to my taste though. Lots of blood and guts - I'm sure there are plenty of people out there this will appeal to.Good luck.Chrissie view book
I have read the first 3 chapters. It is a very comfortable read. I like the fact it is set in the Isle of Wight which gives the story a beautiful backdrop and a certain innocence. The characters feel real and believable.Chrissie view book

CHIRG ReviewThis is brilliantly written and the characters are fantastic. It reads as an original fairytale and I have to say leaves me with the same slightly uncomfortable feeling I always got from reading fairytales as a child. 6 stars from me and I will back it all the way.ChrissieMissing Charlie view book
This is a brave and powerful memoir. It's good to read an account of the condition which doesn't concentrate on on the influence of the media. Anorexia is a condition which takes over your life completely and becomes a total obsession - you have expressed this well.Loads of stars.ChrissieMissing Charlie view book
This wouldn't be my normal choice of genre, but it is well written and very atmospheric. It certainly deserves to do well.Lots of stars.ChrissieMissing Charlie view book
CHIRG reviewThis is well writen and moves at a good pace. The relationship between the sisters is believable and works well. To me it felt like a mixture between Narnia and Dr Who, whilst at the same time being very original and not easy to predict.Chrissie view book
CHIRG reviewI really enjoyed reading this. The only disappointment for me was that there wasn't more. I feel sure that you have more such stories in your head with moral messages for young children. I am certain my son would have loved this story when he was around 6 or 7. It's just the sort of story he would have had me reading again and again. It does require some good illustrations to go with it but seeing just the text allowed me to imagine the pictures. Lots of stars.Chrissie view book
Well done for writing this and bringing some good from all the bad.Best wishes and starsChrissie view book
This is a brilliant story. I must admit there were parts which made me feel uncomfortable but in a way that only challenging good drama can. I think you have a clear understanding of the issues you are dealing with, in particular how you have drawn on the similarities between what on the surface appear to be such opposite eating disorders. Six stars and I will be backing it very soon.ChrissieMissing Charlie view book

Hi ShelliI really love that you have written this story, so many people have had their lives touched by addiction and it is all to easy to try and brush it away. I am sure a lot of people could take strength from this.Lots of stars.ChrissieMissing Charlie view book

CHIRG ReviewThis is a good fun children's book of the sort all kids love. The characters and the relationships are great and the writing style is very clear. It's just the type of book I would pick up in the bookshop for my kids.Well done and lots of stars.Chrissie"Amy" view book

Hi CyrusThis would certainly not be my normal choice of genre but I'm happy to have left my comfort zone. The description and attention to detail is fabulous. I cannot begin to imagine how much research you must have done to create this. You certainly deserve to do well. Good luck!Chrissie view book
CHIRG ReviewHello KirstieI have read the first 3 chapters and have really not felt like stopping. I enjoyed the pace the story moves at. I would have felt a little frustrated with it if the wolf connection had been held back any longer. It reads very easily and I imagine it would appeal to quite a broad age group. The relationships within the story work well and are convincing which allow the reader to accept the unbelievable. Good luck with this it deserves to do well.Chrissie view book
