A strong opening, not to my taste though. Lots of blood and guts - I'm sure there are plenty of people out there this will appeal to.

I have read the first 3 chapters. It is a very comfortable read. I like the fact it is set in the Isle of Wight which gives the story a beautiful backdrop and a certain innocence. The characters feel real and believable.

This is brilliantly written and the characters are fantastic. It reads as an original fairytale and I have to say leaves me with the same slightly uncomfortable feeling I always got from reading fairytales as a child.

This is a brave and powerful memoir. It's good to read an account of the condition which doesn't concentrate on on the influence of the media. Anorexia is a condition which takes over your life completely and becomes a total obsession - you have expressed this well.

This is well writen and moves at a good pace. The relationship between the sisters is believable and works well. To me it felt like a mixture between Narnia and Dr Who, whilst at the same time being very original and not easy to predict.

I really enjoyed reading this. The only disappointment for me was that there wasn't more. I feel sure that you have more such stories in your head with moral messages for young children. I am certain my son would have loved this story when he was around 6 or 7. It's just the sort of story he would have had me reading again and again. It does require some good illustrations to go with it but seeing just the text allowed me to imagine the pictures.

This is a brilliant story. I must admit there were parts which made me feel uncomfortable but in a way that only challenging good drama can. I think you have a clear understanding of the issues you are dealing with, in particular how you have drawn on the similarities between what on the surface appear to be such opposite eating disorders.

Six stars and I will be backing it very soon.

I have read the first 3 chapters and have really not felt like stopping. I enjoyed the pace the story moves at. I would have felt a little frustrated with it if the wolf connection had been held back any longer. It reads very easily and I imagine it would appeal to quite a broad age group. The relationships within the story work well and are convincing which allow the reader to accept the unbelievable.
