about me

'U no mane suru karasu' - (A crow that imitates a cormorant) - Japanese Proverb

Every drop in the ocean, no matter how small, creates a ripple.

Born and raised in Oxfordshire. I have a passion for Writing, Martial Arts and all things fantasy.

I have been attempting to write a book for a number of years and now have the time and enthusiasm to make dream a reality. To Rise an Angel, is my first book. However, there are also many more waiting amongst my grey matter for their chance to escape.

I have recently added my first chapters of To Rise an Angel to Authonomy and eagerly await your comments (good or bad).

Let me know if you would like me to read your work and I will be more than happy to!

favourite books

The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, pretty much everything by Tolkien, although I think The Silmarillion is my favourite. A large James Herbert fan, especially The Ghosts of Sleath and The Secret of Crickley Hall. I have recently enjoyed Dice Man, Twelve, and Soon I will be invincible.

Hi Marissa, Sorry it's taken me a while to get around to reading, but my WL is very long. I've read the first two chapters and can see that you're a solid writer who knows how to describe a scene well as I was sucked into the 19th century very quickly. The premise is good and the narrative has g... view book

This book drew me in from the pitch. As a fan of everything from ancient Egypt, this story quickly grabbed my attention. You write with a knowledge of your subject matter unrivalled by others on this site. To emerse the reader completely within a historical world so accurately is a challenging task... view book

Hi Michelle, Sorry it's taken me so long to return the read, but I've been a busy boy. I've read through your first 3 chapters today and was impressed with your clear descriptive skill and enchanting storytelling. Imaging my frustartion when I couldn't move from chapter 1 to 2 earlier today as the... view book

Hi Susannah, I've finally got round to reading Saving Walls. I've read the first chapter, and although long, it worked as one complete chapter - an introductory chapter, if you will. It could be split into two, but I think it just comes down to your own personal preferance. Your pitch was intrigu... view book
