When the press discover that his number one hit was actually stolen from an unknown songwriter that subsequently committed suicide, Max tells the Devil to stuff it and gives it all up.
Two years later, after all the trials are done, Max moves to a small town in Mississippi where he owns an old mansion. Max soon discovers that the mansion and the town conceal chilling, bizarre secrets. But as he uncovers secret after secret, and meets werewolves and swamp monsters he might discover a new name for the Devil's own town: home.
