Very clean manuscript, easy to read. You write excellently Michael. I do not see any reason why this shouldn't do well.

Well what can I say! I really really liked this and want to read more. I've read all 5 chapters. Cat would definitely get on with Isabelle (in internet liaisons).
You write really well and your charaters are well drawn. It was easy to visualise them. I can see myself reading this in paperback. I can't wait to read the rest.
The only thing that stuck in my mind was in Chapter 2 Martha said her daughter is the one that knows about computers yet in the next chapter, she suddenly talks of going online and stuff. So that would imply that she does know about computers, no? Oh maybe I just read that wrong.
The other thing was Sharon's co-worker Elise saying how great 'her ass looked in those black pants'. Would a woman really say that? I felt it was more a guy's line but again I could be wrong having never looked at a woman in that way! haha
All in all, a thoroughly good read!

Ok Duane,
This is soooo different to Internet Liaisons, much more 'grown up' and a novel that i'll have to sit down to without any distractions. My brain has gotten too used to reading chick lit, it's turned it to mush! haha
From what I can make out so far, this is a very interesting and intelligent read. It's engaging and the reader can get lost in time as your writing is very descriptive. There must have been a lot of research into this Duane. It's really rather impressive!
I like historial books although I sometimes get lost in them but I think that's more me and my brain than the book itself. I shall be back to read more soon.
I think I backed it before but I'll back again, just in case! :-)

What great fun this is! I knew I was going to love this from the very first paragraph! Really easy ready, refreshing, highly enjoyable. I can imagine reading this for real sitting on my train or lying on a beach.

I've only managed to read 4 chapters due to being at work but I can tell that this is a magnificent book. What a lovely engaging story Cheryl. I've read more than I'd intended and that's because it's so easy to read and really... just original. I want to read more but I'm at work and work beckons! As with Bev, I read as a reader and I had no problems in following this story or understanding it. You write very well. This makes my novel seem so trivial! lol

I've just read the first 3 chapters and enjoyed it. Good easy to follow writing. My only comment is that I too thought there were too many Mrs Bannisters in the first few paragraphs but that might just be cos it's Mrs + Bannister as opposed to a single name like Penny if you know what I mean?

I love getting lost in novels like this... taking me to far away places.

This is great Jeff. Really descriptive and easy to read.

Sometimes with historical novels, the reader can kind of get lost but that's not the case here.

A truly enjoyable read. I shall be back for more soon!

Crikey!!! I haven't read that much Erotica before especially written by a guy so this was a bit of an eye opener in more ways than one. It's tastefully written though and as someone else commented, I expected it to be more 'porn' like but you write very well JD and it flows effortlessly that it makes you want to read on!

"have you any irish in you" lol I so thought Danny was going to say 'do you want any' too!
