about me

I live in Newcastle upon Tyne and this is where my series of Jane West novels are based. I have always had an interest in writing having enjoyed creative writing tasks in English lessons at school. When I learned that Enid Blyton was a distant relation of mine, I wanted to migrate onto writing proper books myself. However, as is the way with these things, life got in the way.

Judgement Wolf is the first novel in the Jane West series and also the first novel that I have written. I have already started book two in the series which should be available in the New Year.

Judgement Wolf

Heather Barlow

Dr Jane West and her team must recover some stolen artefacts with mystical powers and discover the reason why Nick's surname is Van Helsing.

Dr Jane West heads up a team of paranormal investigators as they work from their secret underground base in Newcastle upon Tyne. The team have been called in to investigate the simultaneous thefts of artefacts with mystical powers on both sides of the Atlantic. One of which may have led to the death of the President of the United States.

Can Jane West and her team find the stolen artefacts before their mystical powers are used against them, or have the artefacts already falling into the hands of a potentially dangerous vampire? During the investigation will she uncover the truth about her assistant’s past and why, as an orphaned baby, he was given the surname Van Helsing?

This book is suitable for adults and older teenagers.

Thanks for the comments. Susie's assumption that the case is solved and everything is wrapped up is only part true. For in solving the case the team discover that a new enemy has been unleased, a creature with supernatural powers. Judegment Wolf is the first in a series of books that I int... view book
