about me

I've been fortunate. The workbook has won two awards and, by the grace of God, is being published (royalty - wow!) :D

You are definitely invited to read the chapter of the workbook on this site but I need to let you know that at this time, I'm not returning reads. I feel it only fair to let you know in advance so you won't waste time reviewing with hopes of a return review.

(I also enjoy painting and have some photos of my art work on my blog: amateurish but a delightful 'escape' for me. Feel free to take a look :)

Guided Journaling for Personal and Spiritual Growth

Christians are not exempt from family problems.

Dysfunction is a hidden epidemic and includes (but it is not limited to) separation, divorce, addiction, poor discipline methods, favoritism, milder forms of mistreatment and/or neglect, rejection by one or both parents, abandonment, immature parenting, etc.. While not necessarily experiencing a diagnosed psychological disorder, young adults and adults may find their attempts to live the Christian life hindered by their struggles with issues from their early family life.

They have questions.

This workbook is designed to help them find answers. As a college professor of psychology, I spent far more hours talking and counseling with young adults with unsettled questions from their childhood than I spent in the classroom. Now that I'm retired, I wonder, "Who will answer their questions?" It is out of my strong, over-whelming, desire to reach out to and help these adults that I have written this workbook.

A preview (chapter one) is only available on this site as this workbook is in the process of publication.

I love well-written biographies, but because a biography or autobiography is the true story of a person's life - this doesn't automatically make it a good book. I've read some good autobiographies on this site, some poor ones, and a few outstanding ones (from the perspective of a reader, not a ... view book

Margaret, hello! I'm online now as a "reader" and am just enjoying reading without doing a lot in the way of reviews. I didn't find anything, really though, in your book about which I'd suggest improvements. So, I'll let you know, as a reader, I really loved your book. Your thoughts are well expres... view book

CLF 2 review Linda: Hi. I read all eight chapters and found it a delightful read. Is this intended to be a short story? If so, I think it makes a great story and would love to see it published in a magazine that publishes short stories such as Ladies Home Journal or Redbook or another popular... view book
