Unfairly reprimanded for tiny, harmless faux-pas like accidentally killing her teacher, Finn can't wait to be done with school and back on the trapeze. On the one night that Finn isn't looking for trouble, it finds her. In astonishingly quick succession, she's stabbed with a strange knife by an utter stranger, saved by another, witnesses her saviour fighting off a pack of demon-dogs with a sword, and then finds herself dealing with the consequences of drunk driving.
