Lucifer's Crossing

R J R Andrews

An ancient rivalry threatens two futuristic cities and pulls four homicide cops into a world they couldn't imagine was so entwined with their destiny.

Four homicide detectives in two French-culture cities in the newly formed United Americas face an improbable dilemma. Someone or something is tearing the heads from a seemingly random group of victims. As terror mounts around them and their lives become inexorably caught up in the rising mystery of their cases, they discover that nothing they believed in can be trusted and that they are themselves not who they once believed they were.

Lucifer's Crossing spans the centuries from the dark ages into the future to draw together the tale of an ancient rivalry that must play out its final act amidst the remains of a shattered civilization. As the four officers are drawn together, they discover that they will be the key to the final solution, the outcome of which will determine the fate of humanity itself.

The Map

R. Andrews

Two young teens find a map to another world. Can they live in two worlds at once and not lose either?

Toby and his best fried Alexandra find a canister while clearing the attic of his Grandmother's strange old house. When they open it, they discover an ancient artifact, The Map, a portal which transports them to the dimension of Fangor, a world gripped by a struggle for survival. Enlisted by the Regents of Peace, Toby and Alex are charged with reuniting a set of powerful artifacts that can bring peace to this dimension and defeat the Lords of Chaos. When the teens discover that the Map will allow them to move freely between Fangor and their home, they must decide where their loyalties lie. With Fangor needing them for its very survival and friends and family at home, the choices become difficult. When Malfence, the leader of the Lords of Chaos discovers that they have the map, their homes become threatened and they must decide whether to close the portal and stay in Fangor forever. Do Toby and Alex have to abandon their world to save it?

The Map is a young adult series of fourteen journeys.

The Thirteenth Son

R J R Andrews

An ancient prophesy tightens its grip on a modern world, a reluctant inheritance borne by two men no longer human but bearing humanity's fate.

A child of prophesy.

A doomsday collision course and the fate of the world in the balance.

When two reluctant heroes are forced into an ancient grudge match, all hell has a tendency to break loose.

Empowered by forces they don't understand, two former partners change from fighting crime to perpetrating the greatest crime against humanity in the history of the planet. If only they can discern who constitutes the real enemy before they have gone too far...

Awesome. Your writing is excellent - a particularly strong gift for laying out backstory without choking us and also for immersing us into an alternate reality that is plausible and deftly defined without being heavy handed about it. I echo Blaze Eyes - Waaaaaay too long. I'd say your little as... view book

Wow. Professional, engaging and fast paced. I am reminded of the time I read Mary Vensel White's the Qualities of Wood and listened to the little voices fighting... Voice One: Why are we here? We don't like literary fiction... Voice Two: Shut up, stupid - look at this place, it's excelle... view book

Wow What an awesome way to begin a book. You write beautifully and this has a depth that suggests an intellect behind the writing that is very promising! Not sure about the postscript on the dates - rather Silmarrilion, what? :) view book
