From what I've read so far, I think this is brilliantly laid out. Short but concise early chapters reflecting both Vince and Caty's emotions and questions. Definitely going to read more.

Your pitch drew me in and I found the prologue intriguing, which made me want to find out more about Brian's death. Great descriptions and personal emotions in Chapter 1 - will definitely read more later. Backed with pleasure.

To echo Kendall; you can and WILL do this on your own merit.

Your writing is beautifully but heartbreakingly raw and honest and it really is a story that needs to be told. You've given such a rare insight to a lifestyle that many people will never fully understand but what screams the most is that everybody is a real person with real feelings and real personal principles - even if the boobs, nails, hair etc. are fake!! ;-)

I'm definitely backing this and will be keeping it on my shelf until it either gets on the Eds' desk or you get that publishing deal. I honestly do wish you all the very best - any chance of buying a signed copy by this time next year??!!

I really like this a lot. From a reader's point of view, you have created a very believable situation and I love the descriptions of 'our ancestors' and the strange things they did - like having a special room called a kitchen and trying to kill themselves by inhaling the smoke from the paper tubes filled with tobacco.

I hope you don't take this as an insult - it's meant as a compliment - but there's a definite 'Famous Five of the 21st Century' feel to this and I'm really looking forward to reading more thoughout the day.

Some very thought provoking moments making the reader stop and appreciate the seemingly simple things in life that we currently take for granted. Full of 'what ifs' and 'can you imagine...'

As RonS mentioned, chapter 2 is written 4 times, which is a little confusing - it would pay to update this as soon as you can.

Meanwhile, I really do wish you all the very best with 'Journey into The Past' - definitely backed.

This is really lovely. I've just finished chapter 9 and regretfully have to leave it there until tomorrow.

I love the banter between the kids - very funny - 'doing IT with a ghast!!' great fun, can't wait to read more.

I was really getting into that!!

I have to admit that I found the opening chapter a little bit stilted to begin with - but curiosity got the better of me...

I agree with Steven's comments, it's a very 'interesting concept' - and I love it!!

As you will see, I am just a reader - but I do enjoy reading and I try to be constructive in my comments from that point of view. I also seriously ask myself whether I would go out and physically buy the book.

The answer to this is... Yes!!

I think I love - and hate - Authonomy for this... You get to read the short and the long pitch, then you get the chance to start reading the book itself. But, just as you get really into it, it stops!!

Sorry, enough waffling from my part, you've got my backing and I hope to be able to read more, and buy the book, very soon.
