about me

I am the author of the Ravens Deep Trilogy. A gothically charged dark romance that combines vampire superstition with a complex and modern love story.

I want to find a big publishing house to publish my new book - The Beekeeper's Daughter which is a historial dark romance,

: Set in 19th century Exmoor, the lives of the cottagers, blacksmiths and wealthy landowners entwine in this story of dark desire, murder, corruption and black magic. Annabel Taylor is a free spirit, her inherent gift and a strange connection with her father’s bees, is the dark undercurrent in this story. Jevan Wenham, the son of the blacksmith, lives his life on the verge of destruction, his devotion to Annabel is full of twists and turns, as brutality meld with deepest desire. Alex is the heir to the Saltonstall legacy and the son of Cerberus Saltonstall, the wealthy landowner of the foreboding Gothelstone Manor House. Alex is arrogant and self assured, but meets his match when he first encounters Annabel. He is not only bewitched by her beauty, he is drawn to her by a force that cannot be explained. A devastating love triangle unfolds, disturbing revelations lead Annabel to a startling reality, where nothing is as it seems, she must bring to an end a diabolical intention, and use her darkest powers to destroy a powerful witch.

Hi Deborah, I found the first chapter a bit confusing, I didnt realise I was reading a letter until quite a way in, any agent would have got bored and not read through the second page. If you are going to start with a letter make it obvious thats what it is. You seem to want to tell the reader ev... view book
