Reading at the request of your sister (I believe it was) for a read-swap. This book is really not anything I would normally read (not a big fan of nonfiction) however it is well written and a good book. Definitely something I would reccomend for anyone with a strong faith or religion. view book
This is a really terrific story! Despite having had very little sleep this week, I find myself staying up late another night simply because I can't stop reading.I took some notes on the first "four" chapters, but stopped because I got totally sucked into the story and didn't want to stop. I'm up to chapter 8 (or 17) and plan to continue reading more when I get some free time again. Please finish this story if it's not already so I can find out what happens!Chapter 1 notes:Your first chapter is great! Its very engaging and introduces all the main (or at least important) characters without the narator just telling the reader. As a reader I have a very brief view of the contestants for the show, but I feel like I already know a ton about them. They're very well fleshed out and realistic.Chapter 2 notes:not much to say about chapter 2 other than it's a nice explanation, tieing in events of the present and of the past. I think a TV show filmed in actual space would be super cool. Wonder how long it would take to get NASA on board though? :/Chapter 4 notes:dunno if you're aware, but you posted chapter 5 in with chapter 4, as well as chapter 6 and 7.I was wondering what research you did on the G's experienced during astronaut traning? I attended space camp when I was 10, and they had a ride for kids that spun around and went up to 3Gs. Sure, they had barf bags in there, but I didn't see a single kid in 20 (myself included) that needed one. And it didn't feel nearly as tough as you described. Not saying your wrong as I certainly haven't done the research, just something you might want to check.Sources: http://www.spacecamp.com/mu/groups/astrotrek and personal experience/memoryChapter "5" notes:seems you have chapter 8 down for 5, so I'm guessing they'll all be a bit off now. :)Oh, ha! Just noticed the "title" of the chapter states what number chapters are there. Okay, nevermind then. view book
