about me
I am fresh and tasty.
I grew up in San Francisco, home of the fusion food cart. My mother started making Ranch Snack Wraps before any of the commercial schnazzle took over and made it their own. An innovator of food, my mother guided me through life with one mantra: If you're going to love something in life, love it with all of you heart.
My book, "Liv Says" has been a work in progress since I was 19. I approach traditional love of food with the life lessons my mother taught me, along with hilarious and often touching ancedotes.
When I was 33, my mother died of breast cancer. She spent her last few months at a hospice center, and we became "family" with many of the patients there. We'd laugh, share stories, and exchange recipes.
My book follows my mother through her journey, up to her inevitable death, while combining stories of her life lessons that will warm your heart, as well as recipies that will warm your stomach.
