First of all I think this is an exciting, interesting storyline that would appeal to young people, especially boys. The portrayal of a family in crisis is moving and I like the way you intersperse this with the freedom of Ryan's encounters on the mountainside.
A lovely old-fashioned story - one that children will enjoy reading or having read to them by the fire. Happily backed.
