DaddyBall is the story of Tyler Delorean’s experience playing on his Little League team, the Astros. The Astros are a hard-luck team that faces adversity at every turn. Tyler and the Astros endure everything from numerous injuries, heated rivalries and bad umpires to unreasonable coaches and parents.
Tyler starts the season thinking all he has to do is play well to make his team a winner. He quickly discovers that a single player does not make a team. No matter how well he plays, his team still loses every game. It is not until he starts to help his teammates that things get better. With help from his friends, family and the baseball gods, Tyler helps the Astros go from the last-place team of the regular season to the champions of the post-season tournament.
