Hi :) My name is Lauren and I'm 20 years old. I live in a little village in Dudley, West Midlands, England and absolutely live and breathe writing.

An ambition of mine is to write a chick-lit/romance novel like 'The Time Traveler's wife'-it's my perfect book; original story, characters you fall in love with and such a tear-jerker I actually hyperventilated whilst sobbing at the ending! If I could write a novel half as good I would be happy.

I joined this site after reading 'Fairy tale of New York' by Miranda Dickinson. She is from my local area and went to the same church as my aunt and uncle. When they recommended the book to me I saw that this site helped her an awful lot and I really hope it can do the same for me. For anyone that hasn't read the book, it's fantastic by the way!

A little bit about my personality...I'm sensitive, caring, a brilliant listener, always willing to help, funny (without actually meaning to be! My clumsiness and gullibility help with this), approachable, friendly and non-judgmental (something I really pride myself on).

Finally, I have the most fantastic family; we are all so close and I love every single person to bits. I also have a small but absolutely lovely group of friends and I wouldn't change them for the world :)
