about me

I'm a 41 year old mother of 4 who enjoys writing, reading and life in general. I finished my first novel, Revelation in 2008 and am currently working on a sequel titled, Unforgivable. My goal is to write 4 books in my 'Sin' series. I have recently signed with Cascade Literary Agency. My agent is Jewelann Cone.

Revelation is a paranormal romance/ suspense focusing on a subject rarely explored. I've created a new version of the origin of the vampire by incorporating Biblical characters, in this case The Twelve Apostles, where they are punished by Christ at The Last Supper for their betrayal. Christ uses his own blood to curse them, with the aid of The Holy Grail in which he condemns the Apostles to live eternity drinking blood which Christ taught was the essence of life.

Essentially, I rewrote the events of The New Testament and added a unique twist by introducing a fresh perspective and new approach as to what really happened to Christ's beloved disciples as opposed as to what is documented in The Bible.

Vampire Kellan Donnolly, the son of Simon The Apostle, must choose between saving his race from extinction or true love.

Nicole Erwin left her hometown of Coalmont VA. and moved to New York City to start a new life. Born with a predominant scar on her left wrist, and raised by an uncaring father, she had always led a life of unhappiness, never believing she would find true love.

But when sexy 'emo' vampire Kellan Donnolly, saves her from becoming brutally attacked on a cold dark night, Nicole finds herself drawn to him, unaware their chance encounter was not a coincidence at all, and the blood flowing in her veins is key to the survival of an ancient sect of vampires.

After being punished by Christ and transformed into vampires, The Apostle Simon, along with the other eleven disciples, are bound by an ancient prophecy in order to save their race from destruction. It is up to Kellan, The Son of Adam's lineage, to find the female descendant of Mary, and have a child by her, ensuring the continuation of their species. But can Kellan remain loyal to his clan while his feelings of desire for Nicole grow deeper?

Hi Ron. Yes here in the US donors are paid because sadly Americans do not freely give blood. Most of the donors are starving college students. Ha! We also get paid for donating plasma. I was very interested to learn that in the UK donations are not paid--you learn something new every day. I wen... view book

Usually I don't comment because as an aspiring writer myself, I don't feel quilified to judge another's work. However, after reading your first chapter I couldn't help it. Your writing style is very original and the pace flows quickly--just what I like in a book. The characters are believable and th... view book

The vivid descriptions of the opening scene caught my attention right away. The crackle of a pine cone, the smell of rotting vegetation, mosquitos buzzing....all written in perfect detail. This book is a keeper! Backed! Michelle Rhyne Original Sin view book

I am totally smitten with this book! The characters are believable and true to form. One almost feels sorry Jemima until she starts bullying Scarlett.
