about me

I am the author of the 'How do I know?' series and the BSBP (Bible studies for busy people) series. ‘How do I know I know God’ is the first book in the HDIK series. This book was on authonomy but has now been published. I had to therefore remove it from this site to comply with the conditions of the publisher.
I have not been active on authonomy for many months as I have been too busy writing books and Bible studies to give the site the attention it deserves. I am delighted to be back again now and to be able to make contact again with many wonderful people on here! I have now uploaded part of my third book in the series and would welcome reviews and comments. This book is 'How do I know God answers prayer?'

I will always return reads and comment/back as appropriate.

You can find full details of all my books and Bible studies on my website www.howdoiknowbooks.com - the link is below.

All profit from my writing goes to charity and the profit from the 'How do I know?' series has been pledged specifically to Tearfund – a very worthwhile charity which is helping to release people in many parts of the world from material and spiritual poverty. How do I know God answers pray....

Margaret Weston

Why isn't God answering my prayer? God always answers prayer!

Why isn’t God answering my prayer? This is a question we all ask at sometime in our lives. What’s the point of praying? If God knows what is going to happen then why pray? And if he knows everything then he knows what I am going to pray before I pray it! Why when we pray for healing are some people healed and others not? How should I pray, when should I pray and what should I pray? These and many other questions arise in our lives and the root question behind them all is – How do I know God answers prayer?

This book continues the conversation between the same two people we met in the first and second book of the 'How do I know?' series. It follows 'How do I know I know God?' and 'How do I know what God wants me to do?' There are five parts - What is prayer? Why pray? How do I pray? When should I pray/ and Who will pray? The author encourages and challenges the reader to embark on a prayer journey with a God who always answers prayer.

Jeri this has the makings of a truly wonderful book. It is challenging and yet somehow encouraging at the same time. How we need this today! How we need to be prepared to take up our cross and follow Jesus. There is nothing more worthwhile and yet, in some ways, nothing more difficult in the pre... view book

CLF2 - I really like this story! This is my second review as I have already commented 25 days ago and am not sure I can add much to what I have already said! However, even though I read the whole story last time and intended to only read three chapters this time, I found I was enjoying it once aga... view book

The idea behind this book is a good one. The sincerity of the author shines through. Some of the phrases are beautiful and there are lovely pictures painted about a mother's heart and her bond with her child. The book does however require some detailed editing - in my opinion - if it is to become... view book

Very well written even though this is not my kind of book! Nevertheless I still have to admire the standard of writing and the way you build the suspense as the story progresses. Right from the start with the shadowy figure in the background and then the drunkenness of the’six’ followed by the typ... view book

A gripping and action-packed story which compelled me to read on – even though this is not my usual kind of reading! I am not keen on fiction which mixes the truth of the Bible with man’s imagination but nevertheless I admire your obvious talent. You write very well and I was appalled and enthrall... view book
