my books

As Of Yet Unfinished

B. N. Randall

Herein lies a somewhat eccentric assortment of short stories.

Unfinished short stories dealing with magical realism, family, travel, youthful awakenings, and a bit of an autobiography.
My goal here is to find out what is substantive, get constructive criticism on it, and then finish those particular stories.

The way you bring the atmosphere into the readers mind is simply exceptional...it's just the right amount of informat... view book

Club Nanobot: This was a rather fascinating read. Such an interesting protagonist. I liked your dialog and the setting of the scenes is just perfect. I could absolutely feel myself being there. Your writing is fluid and the world is imaginative - both bright in its originality and dark in its scope... view book

Club Nanobot: LOVED this!!!! What a genius start. I feel like I could have just picked this up in a bookstore. And if I had I would have raced to the register, bought it, and spent the rest of the day reading in bliss. This is just completely my kind of story. Your writing is exceptional, your MS s... view book

Nanobot review: Hi Sara! Your MS is very clean and polished, lovely. The story goes on at a nice pace and I like the way you introduce the characters. You know something odd is going on, but you're not quite sure what. I like the mystery aspect of it. I love Finger Bones and the sisters who don't t... view book

Club Nanobot: This was interesting for me. The way the text shows up on the screen gives it an oddly sterile feel, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Interesting voice with the MC. She seems...reserved. Which is a little refreshing. There's a simplicity here that makes it easy to read. I'm intere... view book
