A story about a girl's determination to capture those responsible for her father's death, with the help of a boy from a clandestine organization.
Joelle Quinn watches as her father is murdered right before her very eyes. One year passes and she has only gotten worse over time, refusing to accept the help of her family, friends, not even psychiatrists. On the day of her eighteenth birthday, she receives an envelope. Inside are five photographs: One of her family, two of her late father and two of her mother. There is also a note fashioned out of magazine letters: "You have thirty days to find me or your mother is next." Enter the new neighbors. They are part of a clandestine organization which specializes in training espionage agents, deadly assassins and security personel. Their son, Ethan, is the newest recruit, and his first mission is to protect Joelle and find her father's killer... Before the deadline is up.
