about me

I began writing in December 2010 developing studies of the Bible. My first book of studies was submitted in August 2011.

I have written and submitted a book called "Moral Power". It is a serious study of the concepts of I Corinthians 4:20. The idea is to help readers develop their own moral power.

My third book is called "God's Punishment" and is a study of punishment as written about in the Bible. The reader gains a knowledge of punishment as important for his or her well being.

I plan to continue writitng studies on Bible verses. I find the work personally beneficial and hope that my work benefits others as well.

Scriptural Studies is the name of the Chrisitan writings I author. The studies can be read on my website.

God's Punishment

Mary E. Caruana

God's Punishment is a preliminary study on the concept of punishment in the Bible. The book proves that perfect love casts out fear of punishment.

God's Punishment is the interpretation of what is written in the Bible about punishment. The book by leading the reader through the concepts of punishment in the Bible develops a good attitude towards the discipline and correction of God. Understanding of how punishment in a person's life was used to help him or her develop into a useful person can be gained.

Moral Power

Mary E. Caruana

Moral Power is a serious study of morality using the Bible. It is meant to be read in short sessions, as the reader finds interest.

Moral Power is based on a Bible verse from I Corinthians 4:20. "For the kingdom of God consists of and is based on not talk but power (moral power and excellence of soul)." After the introduction there are three chapters that describe "moral", "power" and "excellence of soul". Then the Ten Commandments are used to develop the reader's personal concepts of moral power. The book is based on Bible verses with short, clear interpretations using everyday concepts. Each of the Ten Commandments has a separate chapter using a central theme concerning the commandment. The chapters do not need to be read in order. Chapters of interest may be picked and other chapters considered at another time. The reading is for personal application and the reader should read for what relates to him or herself. The book is to be used to develop a person's moral might. The concets of "moral power", "excellence of soul" and "moral might" are defined in the introduction to part one.

An Anthology of Scriptural Stu....

Mary E. Caruana

An anthology of five scripture studies on church issues. The studies concern fellowship, the Lord's Prayer, Christian women, the Psalms, and the world.

The anthology includes five studies of scripture. "Definition and Problems in Church Fellowship" discusses the scriptural basis for church fellowship. "Comments on the Lord's Prayer" provides insight into saying the Lord's Prayer with meaning. "Developing Christian Women" uses chapter 5 of Ephesians and chapter 2 of Titus to describe Christian women. "Love Verses from the Psalms" concerns Christian love. "Love Not the World" talks about living in the world but not being of the world. Each study quotes the scripture verses and gives explanations according to the subject.

Jeri, I was very impressed with your in depth writings on the gospels. I received much enlightenment from reading the first few chapters of your book. The chapters are long yet I wanted to completely read them. However it is one thing to read about the teachings of Jesus and more important to try a... view book

Ronald, I read the first chapter of your book and found it very detailed about war. I found the experiences were beyond what I knew about war. The picture of war you presented was done with out emotion which surprised me. I imagin experiences like those are very hard to get over. MaryBe view book

Kara, I enjoyed reading the stories of the Bible told in such vivid emotional imagery. The joy expressed at the healings of Jesus Christ put joy in my heart for the physical healings I have experienced and the spiritual healings from sin by Christ. I spent an hour filling my heart with the joy reme... view book

Su Dan, I read the first three chapters and your story held my attention until I lost the general meaning of it. Your book is a fantasy thriller. I am used to a more serious attitude about life so I am not sure what to say about it. Your talent at imagery is good. Pictures of what was happening fla... view book

Peter, I laughed at some of my inconsistant beliefs when you pointed out things logically. You made many points that helped me with my Christian outlook. However though you seemed to attack some of the tried and true doctrines of the Christian church I remained a believer in it all. Maybe some of i... view book
