Hi Jennifer,Liminal Lights, what a delight! A strong narrative, Nadia at the helm introduces us to her magical friends. The tension builds in the story as the Liminals try to sustain and build their power to preserve their race. I'd recommend your book as a very good read for children and young adults alike. Backed. Hi Rena! Great thanks to you! I've had to go through two writer's groups and countless editors to get the book to this point; you wouldn't believe it, so I won't tell you. And they changed things to sound common, and not as far-fetched as my work. So, I'll change some things back to the way they were. I'm going to read your book soon as well. Also, I uploaded 3 chapters in one file, but have to wait until the reveiwers let me get in to edit and put the chapters and titles in that they asked us to leave out until we uploaded the file. Hi there! This is a really interesting read and your writing style and voice are really unique. I found that there were some sentences that were a bit trite and perhaps overused - which was a bit of a shame since so much of your writing is so much your own and so many of the images you paint and descriptions you use are very unusual and literary. I could point out the ones that jarred me if you are interested. But it's very clear that you can write - and write well and that this will be a very very interesting novel. I would pick it up in a store on the basis of your pitch alone if I saw that on the back of a book. Great read so far. Highly starred.
