about me

29 year old who loves to travel, focused on graduating with a PHD in Forensic Psychology and publishing the novel i've been working on for a very long time (The Shout of the Phoenix) I wish to know of other countries for i have been lucky already to see life in India, Malaysia, Mexico, Venezuela, Panama, Canada and the Dominican Republic.
I think its amazing how different yet similar we all are in culture, philosophy, religion, politics and so on and theres a beauty in learning a thing or two from these places that makes this place (earth) a very worthy one.

Joel Taveras

A transformative journey collides with the unraveling of a mysterious book, a search for true love,
foreign cultures, the human condition, religion, mythology, and sex.

Angel is living the perfect life in New York City. His family name “The Olmos” has opened doors for him
to get anywhere he wants and is to be the heir of a powerful inheritance. Life has no limits when it comes to love, fame, sex and pleasure for a young man whose future is financially charted out.
However, his life begins to change drastically after a terrible accident forces him to find the real meaning of life in a
transformative journey that takes him across the globe to Asia,Europe and Africa. In this journey, where he battles his own mortality, having lost all of his money/material possessions, encountering powerful opponents, loosing the bonds of family ties, fallen from grace and prestige and in search for his true love, he discovers that the most precious treasures anyone can possess is friendship and finding one self in spite of difficult and adverse obstacles.
Everything comes to a halt in his thorny path when a mysterious man on a plane and a lost book finally reveal the long awaited for answers for a journey that posed multiple possibilities on a person whose life journey was to fill an empty void.

Gotta say i would have liked an intro or a Prologue (im a sucker for environmental descriptions and pre cursers) but this was actually very good. Only read the first two chapters but ...Very good dialogue and good story so... view book

Grace, Im glad i revisited this book. My previous review would not do it justice. This is very intense, and you lady are very brave to describe such experiences. True its dark, but such darkness is what is usually mostly remembered. I respect your courage and bravery for enduring such things and ... view book

"Home Isn't a place, its a Feeling" ...Now that is powerful. And deeply unique. I noticed it was a very short story, which is good because it means it can be completed in one read, but given your premise is a good one, i see much more room for a lengthier version. The first 4 chapters introduced st... view book
