about me

I'm in my early 20's, live in the Scottish Highlands (though I seem to spend all my time in Edinburgh) but I originated in Southern England. I love animals, especially canines - wild or domestic, don't mind. I have a ... slight -cough- obsession with wolves. I'm told I'm very sarcastic but I've yet to see the proof of that.

I am terrified of moths and daddy-long-legs. They will take over the world one day, I can assure you.

I enjoy writing fantasy. Although I have numerous other projects, three of which would fall into different genres... I think.

Chiret is where most of my concentration lies but I have a chick-lit (possibly) drama called Addict, a YA Fantasy called Norbert and Genie, a Religious Satire (maybe) called Devil Spawn and what could be a thriller called Mine.

I do struggle to finish things. The problem being I'll get into one project for so long before a new idea pops into my head and then I'll like that one better until another idea comes along. However I will finish Chiret. I will. Honest.

Chiret: The Start Of The In-B....

Rix

Chiret borders are the sons of a King but they're being murdered. Can the youngest, who guards his world from ours, stop the madness?

Seventh is the youngest Border of Chiret. He can move between his world and ours. When he is young, he accidentally travels to our world before he comes of age and meets a young human girl, befriends her and never forgets her but when he returns his world is forever changed by a string of royal murders; reducing the Seven Borders to a mere Three.

The royal Guardian, determined to keep Seventh and his brothers alive, executes most of the servants and any that are deemed traitors, killing any loyalty left for The Borders. No longer able to control the situation, The Guardian sends the young princes to their worlds to recruit soldiers for their cause. Seventh immediately seeks out his young friend.

Back in Chiret, can Seventh stop the murders and restore stability in Chiret? Will his young human friend stay true and not give in to temptation and power?

Well? Read it and find out...

Incomplete.

By Chapter 9 I began to wonder if Mr Poonlop's holiday was going to consist of simply searching for one. Ok, at chapter 11 you have me wishing I had kids so I could read this aloud without getting odd looks from my partner. Saying that, I'm getting them anyway. I have to admit, when Fleur was... view book

"Well, mum said she miss-carried him so I'm guessing she dropped him." That line was damn funny. I don't think you need to name the comics in this sentence, "especially when he was reading his Beano, Rover and Dandy comics". You've already named them in the paragraphs before. It's unlikely you... view book

I know when I was younger, and when friends were younger, we powered through as many "gay" books as possible. Not necessarily because we wanted to but because it's something other gay teenagers expected of us. I think out of about 12, only one of them I would pick up again and that isn't because i... view book

Hey, I've only read the one chapter as I feel that's enough for my tastes. I see this working a lot better as a video game, or as a CGI film than a novel at the moment. You have the action and the sex for those two, arguably for a novel too, although I think you either need to cut it out or work o... view book

What an exciting opening chapter. Don't have time to read further at the moment but, wanted to let you know I enjoyed what I'd got through. I got a little confused when they were in the car but I think I was reading too fast during that scene for it all to register. I liked the bit when Coldfield... view book
