On my first trip to Israel in June 2011, I record my thoughts, prayers, and praises to God about His land and people.
After almost two years of planning, the Lord's calling for me to visit Israel was coming to fruition. I visited with a group of sixteen Christians, led by a Messianic Jew, an Israeli and American citizen. Our trip was primarily intended for work as ambassadors to bless Israel. We brought gifts to several places: a hospital in Beer Sheva, an Israeli Defense Force base in Galilee, and an orphanage in Natanya. We worked to open a ministry facility in Beer Sheva, and to prepare a clothing distribution center in Jerusalem to open. Our work occupied most of our two weeks in Israel and greatly blessed us.
Then we had a chance to tour Israel. At he Garden Tomb, the Old City, Galilee, Mt. Carmel, Golan, the Dead Sea, Beer Sheva the Bible came alive for me in a way I could never have imagined.
My hope for this journal is that others will read with an interest in going to Israel, not only to sightsee, but to bless the people of Israel.
