In Bloom

lee Morrison

In Bloom is a psychological thriller. There is a psychopathic obsession with dark revelations to uncover.

Lie upon lie, i am bound; encapsulated by terror. Frozen in his presence, the coldness that lives in his eyes. I will not sleep tonight. Torn into pieces, so he can mould my new shape. Broken, I sit and wait in his webbed, twisted heaven. Will it be tonight?

The book opens with the thoughts of Ali who is hurt and bleeding, having been attacked by her boyfriend (Mal). It becomes rapidly clear that Ali suffers from paranoia and that Mal himself is shady, withholding vital secrets from the reader. Questions arise such as: How deluded is Ali? WIll Mal have her committed? Is corrupt Mal capable of murder? The heart of the book consists of the reader deciding which of the two main characters is insane, and is also concerned with the extreme emotions can have on human behaviour.

Hey I have read the first three chapters, and I like what I have read so far. The prologue is excellent, as you bring the reader in with a strong hook. The writing is excellent and I was immediately hooked. You have clearly gone to great pains to be as straight about this as humanly possib... view book

Hey I think this is great! Really enjoyed reading it so far. The imagery is very good. I felt the emotion of the little girl, Adrianna. "While biting her lip to keep from crying." Just this demonstrates the emotion that this scene carries, and also of the young vharacter's strength. High s... view book

Hey i have to say I am really enjoying this. So far the light-hearted fun is what shines through, although there are clear imminent and underlying themes. Orange t-shirt (David) is clearly going to turn her world upside down. I have a similar experience (as many women do) so it is good to be a... view book

Hey I have read the first two chapters, but I will keep on reading and give you an overall view. I do like this. The hitman is curious - the fact that he had two devoted, "doting" parents, and yet he is so detached, or at least appears to be. He seems logical, almost rational when discussing t... view book
