about me

HI my name is Abbie Lee Wallace and I live in sunny Queensland in Australia. Well. I'm 28 years old and this is the first book I've ever written. All my life I have loved to read and felt the urge to have a crack at it and would love to hear what you think of my work. I finished writing it about a month ago and would be grateful for an advice on the writing or how to get it looked at by a professional and I know theres always room for improvement. As i tend to think and type faster than my fingers can keep up with, resulting in some very bad grammar and punctuation. I invision this book turning into a series. I already have the second books storyline bubbling away in my noggin.

Major props to Bradley Wind for the design of my awesomely mad book cover.

The Fat Quarter Club

Abbie Lee Wallace

Measure twice, cut once and avoid murder at all costs

The delicate balance of power and patience that has long been cautiously maintained between the women of the quilting circle, called The Fat Quarter Club is rocked by the sudden arrival of a most mysterious man. Mr. Alfie Bobbins is dead set on becoming the newest and only male member of the club. The circle has final settled into the new regime, which now included testosterone, when the whole club threatens to crumble after the timely death of the cranky and greatly feared President Mrs. Beatrice Bean. Whose cute name was in stark contrast to her rabid personality, which had driven even her loving and tolerant husband to an early death. Leaderless and in fear for their lives will the FQC be able to pull together or will their club begin to fray like an unfinished quilt. Rumor, insinuations and accusations ran rampant as the residents of the small costal town of Cardinal Cove scramble to find the culprit.

Medically Mystifying - A Jaqly....

Abbie Lee Wallace

What do a hypochondriac Werewolf and an immune deficient vampire have in common? Dr Jaqlyne Hyde

Upon returning home from a rather underwhelming graduation ceremony Jaqlyne has no idea that her future in the medical profession was sealed inside the oddly shaped package on her front stoop. Inside is a will bequeathing all of Tabitha Hyde’s worldly possessions to her. Which include her residence and private medical practice The Hydeaway. She’d never met her Grandmother and now it looks like she never would.

With mounting med school bills and lack of any better legal options Jaq decides to move and takeover as doctor in residence. From the first patient she meets Jaq can tell there something not quite right with the people of Busbee. She’s soon informed by her Grandmother's charming former protégé Louis Stevenson that the Hyde’s have long catered to the supernatural community of Busbee.

As she settles into her new role as healer she starts to change and grow, like she’s becoming a whole new Jaq.
